Hi Cubberley Families! My name is Lindsey Thompson and I am so excited to be teaching 1st/2nd grade at Cubberley Elementary School this year. I have taught kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, and 3rd grade, and this will be my 8th year teaching.
I grew up in Augusta, Georgia and lived there all the way up until I left for college. All of my family still calls Augusta their home, and although I miss them, I really love living in California. I have lived in the Bay Area in Santa Clara, and now San Diego! Fun Fact: I worked the Master's Golf Tournament each year while growing up.
In 2016, I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood/Elementary Education and Special Education from Mercer University. I then received my Masters Degree in Education from Clemson University with a concentration in STEAM instruction! In my free time, I love going to the beach, hiking, reading, and playing with my dog, Teagan. I know this is going to be a great school year and I am so excited to be a part of the Cubberley community!
