Ms. Christina Haller is our 5th grade teacher. She is extremely excited to become a part of the Cubberley community. Originally from New York, Ms. Haller moved to beautiful San Diego in 2004. She originally went to school for business, but discovered her passion for teaching while getting her masters at UCSD. In 2011, Ms. Haller obtained her teaching credential from SDSU, and she has been teaching ever since. This is her 3rd year teaching within San Diego Unified. Before working for SDUSD, Ms. Haller taught Kindergarten in Vietnam, and first grade in Colombia.
Ms. Haller's teaching philosophy is to create a multi-culturally sensitive, nurturing, and organized classroom. Every year, she hopes to become a stronger teacher, as well as make a difference in the life of each and every child she has the pleasure of teaching. In her free time, Ms. Haller enjoys going to the beach, playing with her dog Oliver, and spending time with family and friends. She has a passion for yoga, and intends to bring mindfulness practices into her classroom this year.
